The location was perfect, with the village just steps away and plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. the cottage itself was cozy and comfortable, with all the amenities you could ask for. I especially loved the clever use of space in the converted basement shower/laundry room. I would definitely stay here again for my next trip to the Lake District.
